If I hadn't brought down the entire G*******E Financial computer network with coupon downloads, (true story), I would still be extreme couponing. We were supposed to be protected from viruses IT GUY! Tough times. Lesson learned. Lucky for me I'm married to the boss ;)
For almost a year, I was downloading and printing hundreds of coupons a day while saving tens of dollars at the supermarket. It's a thrill like none other. I will do anything short of dumpster dive to save a dollar, and that’s only because Pete asked me to stop. (The Rite Aid next to our country club throws out packaging material great for crafts... but we have a “professional reputation"). I have a couponing addiction and a love for all things cheap or funny. It’s the same driving force that led me to tune in for Honey Boo Boo Child live and record the Democratic & Republican National Conventions for later.
These days I'm scavenging my Sunday paper for coupons and clipping them the old fashioned way. I take an occasional trip to the thekrazycouponlady.com for weekly matchups and freebies but it’s not the same since I’m banned from printing anything. I'm trying to get Stuart involved. For some reason the thrill of the scissors is more appealing than the thrill of the savings.
OOH one more thing you MUST read! For those of you living in the dark - Walgreens rolled out a new Balance Rewards Loyalty Program . This has affected me more profoundly then Graydon taking his first steps. I live and breathe by their Register Rewards and now, out of the blue, I have to learn whole new system for accumulating useless shit. Breathe…. Ugh…. I’m thinking heavily about this. Anyway, you can get ALL the Wallgreens couponing details here. If you’re a veteran you can just check out the new Balance Rewards Program below.

Unfortunately we don't have coupons in Australia, but I've seen the show 'Extreme Couponing' and I could see myself becoming a crazy coupon lady with a mortified husband :)
